If English Feels Pointless, Read This

💥 When you analyse language, you’re sharpening your brain. 🧠 When you write creatively, you’re learning to express yourself clearly and confidently. 🎤 When you study characters, you’re building empathy and emotional intelligence.

And guess what? These aren’t just “exam skills.” They’re life skills.

🎓 Universities crave students who can think critically and write fluently.

Even outside of school, English is everywhere: in song lyrics, news headlines, social media captions, job interviews, TikToks, wedding speeches, protest signs. If you’ve ever wanted to express yourself and be heard, English is your toolkit.

So no, it’s not pointless. It’s powerful. It’s underrated. And yes, sometimes it’s a slog. But it’s also the subject that teaches you how to see the world—and speak back to it.
